Introducing the latest addition to our premier fleet of mobile kitchens, the Solar Caterers Kitchen Trailer. Designed to provide caterers with a convenient alternative to traditional kitchen tents and equipment for outdoor events. Without a doubt, this trailer is a caterer’s dream come true.
The Caterers Kitchen Inclusions
The Solar Caterers Kitchen Trailer boasts a unique feature that gives it extra space. It comes with a fold-down tail that effortlessly transforms into a 2.4m square platform. Additionally, the trailer comes complete with a convenient pull-out awning. This awning extends to provide a generous total usable area of over 6m in length and 2.4m in width. This extra area ensures ample space for all your cooking needs.
Equipped with a 240-liter fresh water supply, the trailer feeds twin sinks and a hand wash sink through a 12-volt pressure pump for added convenience. Grey water is efficiently captured in separate tanks, therefore guaranteeing a clean and organized workspace once the trailer is relocated.
Solar Power & Batteries
The lighting and water pump in the trailer is powered by a deep cycle 100 amp-hour battery. The battery is consistently recharged through a solar panel and tow car connection. The battery is equipped with a 240-volt charge point which is used for extended service periods or days of overcast weather with high-volume use. The 12-volt LED internal/external lighting is connected to the battery system which ensures a reliable and continuous power supply.
To enhance the experience, the trailer also features an external gas hot water unit which supplies all internal taps and an external connection point for a hose. For instance, for longer-term applications or events with a large number of guests, you can easily set up external wash tables or dishwashers for added convenience.
Cooking Equipment
The Solar Caterers Kitchen Trailer comes equipped with a Gas 12-tray Heatlie hotbox, Gas BBQ, and Gas twin burner rings. On request we will set up the kitchen with utensils and other equipment you require. A gas roasting oven can also be added to the hire for cooking sections of meat if that’s what’s on the menu. Our experienced staff can assist you in selecting the best options to suit your team’s menu.
Provided with the trailer there is a 10-amp power connection on the passenger side bench for the 4-liter electric deep fryer. Mains power or the optional 7kva generator is required to use the deep fryer.
All equipment must be returned clean unless prior arrangements have been made.
